Religious Education

n Religious Education children gain an understanding of a range of different faiths, including how people’s beliefs affect their daily lives through key questions ranging from, ‘If god is everywhere, why go to a place of worship?’ to ‘Is it better to express your beliefs in art and architecture or in charity and generosity?’

Children critically evaluate by making comparisons between faiths, expressing their own opinions and making parallels to their own lives. As the children become older, they explore how religious beliefs affect groups of people and societies around the world. Children’s personal thoughts and beliefs are respected and shared.
